And not only for body builders Arnold Schwarzenegger is an example or even a synonym for the realization of the American dream. 1947 he was born in a small village near Graz in Austria and carried out body building since the age of fifteen.

Throughout his career Arnold Schwarzenegger became Mr Universe five times and Mr Olympia seven times.

His career as a professional body builder led him also to America, of course. While enviers and critics labeled him a muscleman, he proved his talents to be very widespread: he studied business economics, was an actor, an estate agent, owner of a restaurant and these are only some milestones on his successful career. He got to know Maria Shriver, a member of the Kennedy clan and became active in politics himself. Out of this marriage without any scandals came four children by know. Arnie, as he is heartily called by his fans - was announced consultant by George Bush and entered the Republican Party. He was criticised sharply for his very conservative views. However, in 2003 he was announced governor of California. Besides others, he supports the Paralympics - the Olympics for handicapped people - actively. After Arnold Schwarzenegger, being Austrian, was announced governor speculations arouse, whether he - according to his ambitions and his incredible career - would be announced president of the United States, one day.
