How can HIV / AIDS be spread

HIV is an infectious disease that spreads through passing viruses from infected people to others. An infection is only possible via body fluids, on no account through breathing air, excrements of a cold or a cough least of all through contact with the skin. Oral sex without orgasm is seen as less risky since the oral cavity is not that receptive to the exchange of viruses - provided that no semen reaches the mouth or pharyngeal cavity. To be on the safe side one must exercise anal and vaginal sexual intercourse only wiht a condom and forbid the exchange of semen during oral sex. Medical employees are always exposed to a high risk since they are in contact with infected blood that can spread viruses via an accidentally cut or stitch in the skin. As a general rule latex gloves are worn for protection during a surgery or the blood withdrawal from patients. There is an extremely high risk for an infection for drug addicts using the same syringes. The strict use of one-way syringes is the only help here. Medical treatment that is available today can indeed reduce the number of viruses of an infected person though not at all resolve the infection.
