Are men better drivers?

The question, whether men are better drivers, would be answered with a spontaneous "of course" by 100% of all questioned men. But 100% of the women would answer as spontaneous as the men with an "of course not"! But of course, only the minds separate in this question. Because one can lay out this question however one wants to. Women argue quite clearly with the fact that they produce less accidents while driving.

But only who drives a lot and fast, could control his car really well. Furthermore, women are not able to park. Of course, there are some women who can also park their car. Therefore, this statement leads also to a discussion. Definitively it can be proved statistically that women cause less accidents unter the influence of alcohol in percentages. This means either that they can drive well even under the influence of alcohol or that they do not drive in those situations.

Statistically, women need more driving hours than men to take their driving licence exam successfully.

However, the failure rates in driving tests are possibly equally high. Men take mostly more chances, women often drive rather carefully and cautiously. Often they are also so cautiously that they hinder the traffic flow and become a dangerous risk. This phenomenon is to be observed with men mostly only at a great age. Men use an opening traffic gap faster, decide faster to change of lane and have more angular driving lines than women. One could say, as a rule, they use traffic situations more skilfully. In dangerous situations, men often react faster and more determined. Indeed women get generally by nature less in those - often self-produced - danger zones.
